"World Building" Traveling Exhibition: Artist Reception

  • Bushwick Community Darkroom 334 Himrod St 11237 United States (map)

Join me on May 3rd from 6–8pm at Bushwick Community Darkroom for the artist reception of World Building, a community group exhibition presented by Bushwick Community Darkroom.

This traveling exhibition features selected works from photographers across the globe and will be on view in three locations this spring:

  • Superfine NYC! Art Fair – April 24–27

  • Bushwick Community Darkroom Gallery – April 29–May 15

  • Sluice_ Seyðisfjörður, Iceland – May 22–25

The show invites artists to respond to the theme of World Building, asking: What kind of world do you want to live in? What kind of world do you see right now? Optimistic or dystopian, surreal or grounded in reality—we were encouraged to explore the cracks, the dreams, and the possible futures we hold.

My photograph CRACKING—a quiet image of a small, headless toy figure beside a widening pavement fissure—is part of this exhibition. It’s a reflection on dislocation, fragility, and the strange tension of inhabiting a world that feels on the verge of breaking apart.

Reception is free and open to the public. I’d love to see you there.
